ABOUT ME

Hey, I'm Tim Monaghan, a landscape photographer based in the stunning county of Dorset, UK. My goal is to capture the raw beauty of the natural world and bring it to life through my lens, with a particular focus on the Dorset area, including the iconic Jurassic Coast and New Forest.

I'm an adventure-seeker at heart, and my love for the outdoors has taken me across the globe, but Iceland has a special place in my heart. I'm drawn to extreme weather conditions and the play of light across the landscape. I believe that capturing a moment in time is a way to share my passion and inspire others to appreciate the beauty of our planet.

I love teaching others about landscape photography, and through my wild camping and photography workshops, I aim to encourage others to be more active and look after our environment. My photography is more than just art - it's a way to inspire and motivate people to protect and cherish the natural world around us.

I've been fortunate enough to have my work featured by top brands like The North Face and Practical Photography magazine, and I was thrilled to be nominated as one of Forestry England's "Instagram accounts to follow if you love nature." Being recognised for my passion for landscape photography is a real honour.
