The tripod. Is it a landscape photographers best friend? Well, I certainly think so. Where would we be without it? I mean, you have to have something that is ideally lightweight, sturdy, rock-solid and able to handle the weight of a few thousand pounds worth of photography equipment. Tripods. A pole with 3 legs, right? Nothing more than that. If it holds your camera, then that’s good enough….. WRONG. In my opinion, having a good tripod is imperative.
