MY FAVOURITE PHOTOGRAPHY PODCASTS

If you’re anything like me, you spend a lot of time outside or in the car driving to locations. Sometimes you can be sat at a location for a few hours, so what better way to pass the hours waiting for that perfect light then to listen to a podcast on photography.
Here are my top 5 landscape photography podcasts.

#1 - The Landscape Photography Podcast - By Nick Page

Anyone who knows me, knows that I have a bit, ok, HUGE man crush on Nick Page. I mean, why wouldn’t anyone? The guy is the master of landscape, seascape and astro photography. When you combine this with his engaging, intelligent and honest style, what isn’t there to like? I mean, Nick could make a podcast about mowing the lawn and I would be fully engaged.
If you love landscape, photography in general, or even just the outdoors then Nicks podcast is a great listen. Its just a shame he doesn’t have time to do more of them.

#2 - The Bernard Geraghty Photography Podcast - By Bernard Geraghty

Bernard Geraghy interviews a special guest photographer every fortnight, and it really is a great listen. Bernard is an Irish landscape photographer, who has a keen interest in photographing the weather and storm chasing. Bernards great banter and infectious personality draws you in straight away to the pod. Guests to the pod include Alyn Wallace, Alister Hamill, Daniel Gastager to name but a few. You need to download this immediately.

#3 - The Landscape Photography Show - By David Johnston

David Johnston presents The Landscape Photography Show, which is a podcast about, yep, you’ve guessed it, landscape photography, however, this podcast is slightly different. David has a fantastic interview technique and doesn’t ask his guests the usual “where is your favourite location?” questions. David has the personality to really draw out some interesting views on the thought process that each guest has on taking photos, their mindset, and he really digs into their creativity and mindset. David has a real passion for the outdoors and even for mental health. His guests have included some of the worlds best landscape, seascape and astro photographers. Guests have included Nick Page, Ben Horne, Nigel Danson, Gavin Hardcastle, Alister Benn to name but a few. FANTASTIC LISTEN.

#4 - F-Stop Collaborate and Listen - By Matt Payne

Matt Payne, an established landscape photographer himself, interviews landscape photographers from around the world (there seems to be a reoccurring theme here). Matts love for the outdoors and photography is noticeable from the off, which makes listening to his interviews a joy. He recently released a podcast with Joseph Roybal about the power of mentor-ship and the value of building relationships, which is a great listen.

#5 - The Togcast - By Sam Gregory & Paul Saunders

The Togcast is a UK based photography podcast featuring interviews with top photographers, gear reviews, and much more. The pod is a bi-monthly podcast focusing on photography and photographers, primarily outdoor and landscape photography, but they do also include wildlife photography and adventure photography too. An great listen, and I look forward to these being release every other month.
